Your presentation will be marked on the following:
Oral Expression - out of 5 marks
- Did you speak clearly and confidently?
- Could we hear you easily?
- Were you loud enough?
Eye Contact - out of 5 marks
- Did you make regular eye contact with Frau Bond?
- Did you make regular eye contact with your classmates?
Cue Cards - out of 5 marks
- Did you have cue cards or read your speech from memory?
- Did your cue cards fit into the palm of your hand?
- Did you hold onto your cue cards?
Information - out of 15 marks
- Did you include:
- the name of the state and capital city;
- the population of your state and capital city;
- the distance of your capital city from Berlin; and
- at least 3 natural features, 3 tourist attractions, 2 types of food and 1 tradition?
- Was your information interesting and about your state?
- Did you include the details for at least 4 different websites or books in a bibliography?
Presentation - out of 10 marks
- Did you introduce yourself and your presentation?
- Did you finish your speech off with a conclusion thanking the class for listening?
- Did you include a visual element? (For example, a PowerPoint, poster, website or picture)
- Was it obvious that you had put in a lot of effort and used your time wisely?
